The Mission Viejo Diablos crushed perennial foe San Clemente last night 55-7, another in a series of routs by Mission over the past few weeks.
Next week could be another story, however. Dana Hills, the 5th ranked team in the Pac-5, trounced Aliso Niguel setting up a showdown at #2 Mission next week for the League championship.
The Trabuco Hills Mustangs (8-1, 4-0) remained consistent in defeating league rivals by dismissing Woodbridge 51-14 in the homecoming game for THHS.
Capo Valley lost to Tesoro, 35-17, after being down by only 4 points at halftime.

This could be one of the most balanced Diablo teams I have seen since I started attending Diablo games in 1982. The defense is quick and focused. The offensive line opens holes that anyone could run thru!
Jake Marshall was just outstanding Friday night–with great defense, and outstanding offense. His TD pass was lofted about 40 yards–and was so high I thought it would be considered an UFO before it came down.
Go DIABLOS!!!
