Halloween America opened its seasonal costume and supply store Friday in the former Comp USA store next to Borders Books. It is in the Mission Viejo Freeway Center at Oso and Cabot.
The company has opened eight locations in Southern California. The MV store will be open seven days a week from noon to 8 p.m. (949-367-0601)

Maybe the city will get a few extra sales tax dollars from the Halloween store. I hope so. But the costume store that operated in the old Mervyns was a dark, cluttered, junky mess. Hope this one is more presentable, even though they have no incentive to do so, given their limited term.
My store is not a junky cluttered mess, I assure you. I’m doing my best to give Mission Viejo a rad Halloween store to shop in this year! I have a great selection of merchandise and my prices really reasonable. Come visit us!
