Victims of MV Flasher Christopher Fenn attended his sentence hearing Friday to describe their trauma to the judge. One woman told of nightmares and waking crying, saying she is now overprotective of her children and that her relationship with her family has been impaired. She described her fear when she goes out in public, always watching her surroundings.
Fenn flashed almost 100 women over a 3-year period, according to the D.A. He appeared naked, wearing only a face mask, to victims near his MV home, on his way to work in Santa Ana, or in other South County cities. The incidents often occurred in the early morning on jogging trails, parking lots and other isolated locations.
The 47-year-old insurance salesman was convicted last September and could have received a maximum sentence of over 16 years. On Friday the judge gave him 10 years in prison and required him to register a lifetime sex offender. Fenn’s family, a wife and four children, live in Mission Viejo.
