Girls Win Western Nat’l Championship

"Adrenaline"

   An age 10-and-under girls softball team, known as Adrenaline, recently won the Amateur Softball Association’s Western National Championship over 40 other teams in Tuscon, Arizona.

   Adrenaline previously took first place in the Canyon Hills Memorial Day Tournament, Mira Mesa Runway Classic Tournament, Laguna Niguel Sea Country Classic and the Central District Tournament. They also took 2nd in the State Tournament in Lancaster prior the Tuscon tournament.

   During their season the girls scored 357 runs against 54 for opponents; 27 of their 38 victories were shutouts.

   The girls are Julia Clark, Skyler Corrales, Samantha Dees, Mia Guevarra, Hayley Hensley, Delaney Hull, Alyssa Lazatin, Megan McClure, Terra McGowan, Emily Orville, Jessie Rodriguez and Kyra Snyder. Adrenaline was coached by Jay McGowan, Mike McClure and Bill Snyder.

Wow, what an “Adrenaline” rush for the City of Mission Viejo. Congratulations to the ladies and coaches. Did I hear even one of your players took home a couple of 1st place trophies for her skills during the skills portion of the event? I can only speak for myself and my family, we are very proud of you ladies!!!
