The CIF has released the championship playoff brackets. Mission and Capo Valley are seeded #1 and #2 respectively among Division 1-A’s 32 qualifying teams. The Diablos and Cougars will play in opposite halves of the bracket meaning they could meet in the championship game if neither is upset by a lower ranked team along the way.
Trabuco Hills qualified in the 1-AA Division (bracket not shown) by finishing 2nd in the Sunset League. It will be the underdog in its first round matchup against #4 seeded Loyola this Friday at 7 p.m. at Loyola.
