America’s top swimmers, including Olympians, are in Mission Viejo for the TYR Swim Meet of Champions which starts Thursday. The competition leads up to the World Championships next month.
This year the Meet will be streamed on the internet, with an on-demand feature, courtesy of Marriott Courtyard Hotels.

“The Mission Viejo Nadadores are excited to be in partnership with Swimming World TV to bring this unprecedented exposure for this event,” said Mike Lewis, General Manager of the Mission Viejo Nadadores. “With 65 teams bringing more than 600 athletes, including Olympians Jason Lezak, Nathan Adrian, Kate Ziegler, Rebecca Soni and Chloe Sutton, we expect a very high level of competition leading into the World Championship Trials next month.”
The event lasts through Sunday at the Marguerite Aquatic Center. Prelims begin daily at 9 am and finals are conducted beginning at 5 pm.
